Description

Homemade Pumpkin Bread is a favorite fall  recipe. This Pumpkin Bread is loaded with pumpkin, warm fall spices, is moist and easy to make. It has a delicious cinnamon swirl in the center of the bread that makes this pumpkin bread stand out in looks and taste.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 (15 ounce) can 100% pure pumpkin
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 2 cups all purpose flour

Cinnamon Sugar Swirl

  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 350F. Lightly grease a 9×5 loaf pan with nonstick cooking spray. Set aside.

2. Make the Cinnamon Sugar Swirl. In a small bowl, whisk together the granulated sugar and cinnamon.

3. In a large bowl, stir together oil, butter, sugars, eggs and pumpkin until combined. Add in cinnamon, baking powder, baking soda, salt, nutmeg and all-purpose flour. Stir until batter is combined.

4. Pour 1/3 of the batter into the prepared pan. Sprinkle roughly ½ the cinnamon sugar swirl onto the bread. Pour in another 1/3 batter in the loaf pan. Sprinkle the remaining cinnamon sugar swirl onto the bread, then pour remaining 1/3 batter into the loaf pan.

5. Bake loaf in preheated oven for 50-55 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

6. Allow loaf to completely cool in loaf pan. Slice and enjoy! Store leftover loaf in the refrigerator.

Notes

  • You can freeze this bread for up to 3 months.
  • I like to store the leftover bread in the refrigerator.
