Peach Cobbler

This Peach Cobbler is incredibly easy to make. It’s filled with fresh peaches that are tossed in a buttery cinnamon sugar mixture. The peaches are topped with a homemade batter that bakes up into a light and fluffy topping. Serve with ice cream for a delicious treat.

Description

Ingredients

Peach Filling

  • 10 small peaches, peeled and sliced
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • Juice of 1/2 lemon
  • 3/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

Batter:

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2/3 cup milk
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 350F. Lightly grease a 9×9 inch baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.

2. Make the peach filling. Add all ingredients for peach filling in 9×9 pan. Toss the ingredients to evenly combine. Set aside.

3. In a large bowl, mix together all ingredients under batter, just until combined. Pour batter over peaches. Add reserved peaches on top of the batter.

4. Bake 38-42 minutes.

5. Serve peach cobbler warm with ice cream if desired. Enjoy!
