1-hour Peach Cinnamon Rolls
1-hour Peach Cinnamon Rolls are the ultimate summer treat. Soft, pillowy dough is stuffed with a brown sugar cinnamon peach filling, then topped with a delicious cream cheese icing. Serve these with a scoop of vanilla ice cream for a delicious summer dessert, or enjoy as a tasty breakfast treat.
Fresh peaches may be my favorite fruit during the summer. You can’t beat biting into a ripe, juicy peach. Am I right? Well, given my sweet tooth, it only makes sense for me to combine one of my favorite fruits into a dessert. I may have went a little overboard this summer with creating peach recipes, but oh my gosh they’re all so good, and I think you will enjoy them all too!
These cinnamon rolls are truly the ultimate summer treat. They’re easy to make, I promise! The peaches don’t need to be baked before hand. You simply toss the peaches in a cinnamon sugar mixture which helps the peaches release juices as they bake. As always I allow my rolls to rise in a warm oven, which helps them rise faster. Okay, enough talking, it’s time to get baking!
The details
make the dough
This dough comes together easily, as the peach cinnamon roll recipe uses instant yeast. This means you can mix the yeast directly in with the other ingredients. Of course if you have active dry yeast on hand, you can substitute it for a 1:1 ratio. However, you will have to add the active dry yeast to warm milk and allow it to sit for 5 minutes to activate it.
After adding the ingredients for the dough to your mixing bowl, you’ll mix on medium speed for 5 minutes, then transfer the dough to a greased bowl. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap. This prevents the dough from drying out.
first rise
Allow the dough to rise 25 minutes in a warm oven. Of course, you can skip the warm oven and just allow the dough to rise at room temperature. I’d recommend allowing it to rise for roughly 50 minutes at room temperature.
fill and roll
Spread the brown sugar cinnamon filling over the dough, then spread the peach filling over top of the brown sugar cinnamon filling. Roll the dough into a log, starting at the short end. Cut into 9 rolls, then place in a 9×9 inch greased pan.
second rise
These peach cinnamon rolls don’t really need a full “second rise”. The rolls rise for a second time while the oven preheats. I like to set the rolls on top of the oven while it preheats, as the top of the oven typically gets warm while preheating.
bake and frost
Bake the rolls for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown. Allow the rolls to cool a few minutes before spreading the cream cheese icing on top. Now all that’s left to do is enjoy!

Instructions
1. In the bowl of a stand mixer, add all the ingredients for the dough. Mix on medium speed for 5 minutes. Transfer the dough to a greased bowl. Spray the top of the dough with nonstick spray. Cover with plastic wrap.
2. Preheat oven to 150F. Once the oven reaches this temperature, turn the oven off. Place the covered dough in the warm oven and allow to rise for 25 minutes.
3. Meanwhile, make the peach filling. Add all ingredients for the filling to a bowl. Toss to combine.

6. Roll the dough into a log, starting at the short edge. Using a serrated knife, cut into 9 rolls.
7. Allow the rolls to rise while the oven preheats. Preheat oven to 350F.
8. Once the oven reaches temperature, bake the rolls for 25-30 minutes, or until the rolls are golden brown in color. Allow the rolls to cool for 10 minutes.
